At first, we imagined kids as the protagonists, in line with the song’s title (nens, Catalan for “children”). But after months of reflection, Arnau and I decided to explore a more layered narrative.
We chose a grandfather — a man remembering a summer love from long ago. A tender, nostalgic gaze into a past we rarely imagine our elders having lived, yet one that mirrors our own.
