Max Ruslan is a Barcelona-based film director and producer working across commercials and short-form storytelling. His work explores identity, creativity and the intimate spaces where art and life intersect. With a sensitive, observational approach, he focuses on human expression and emotional clarity.
Drawn to filmmaking from an early fascination with inventing characters and worlds, Max approaches each project with curiosity and a personal, cinematic gaze. Alongside his work as a director, he also brings experience as a producer. In 2024, together with his partner Arnau Monturiol, he founded Sunday Studio™ Barcelona, a production company built around cinematic, human-led storytelling.
Through both his personal work and Sunday Studio™, Max is open to collaborations that value nuance, honesty and a close, human perspective.
